HB2400

House Bill 2400 (HB2400) creates an enhancement and increases penalties for certain Class X criminal sexual assault offenses. HB2400 creates a new enhancement of five years, to be added to the sentence imposed by the court for certain aggravated criminal sexual assault offenses. The proposal also raises the minimum sentence for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child from 6 to 11 years.
