This document provides a detailed analysis of Public Act 104-0011 (PA104-11) which mandates administrative changes to the Illinois Prisoner Review Board (PRB). The wide-ranging changes encompass topics such as salaries, term lengths, and training for PRB members, along with victim notification, factors to be considered in release decisions, and several additional areas related to PRB’s operations. PA104-11 was signed by the Governor on June 20th, 2025 and took effect immediately.
