Senate Bill 2123 expands sentence credit eligibility under 730 ILCS 5/3-6-3(a)(3), (a)(4), (a)(4.1) to all people not serving a natural life sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). SB2123 provides that sentence credits awarded under the proposal do not reduce the sentence by more than five years.
