Senate Bill 2120 and House Bill 2399 create parole eligibility for 2 groups of people in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC): (1) People who are 60 years of age or older and have served 20 consecutive years in IDOC or; (2) people who have served at least 25 consecutive years in IDOC.
