Our November Meeting will focus on the Sentenced Population: Where We Are. Building off SPAC's statutory duty to report on correctional resources, we are inviting Acting Director Rob Jeffreys to discuss the current, historically low prison population. Not since 1991 has the prison population been below 30,000 people. In this historic moment – with the added complication of the impacts from the global pandemic - we will hear about the status, challenges, and opportunities for our state’s correctional resources. As well as from you all within your various State Agencies and Organizations.
